Rope & Pulley

  • Please read all instructions before operating.
  • Follow all instructions carefully. Failure to install or use this product in accordance with the enclosed instructions will void your warranty.
Operating Instructions
  • When operating the screen, the two operating lines must be kept under even tension so that both sides advanced upward together.

  • When left for storage, the screen should be raised as far as possible, equal stress put on each rope and then the roll should be lowered slightly so that the roller weight is supported evenly across the width of the screen and no sag is left in the roller.

Maintenance Instructions
  • If the screen is returned to its raised position immediately after each use, the life of its reflective surface will be greatly extended.

  • If no dust cover is provided, dust will accumulate on the roller and back of the screen and this should be cleaned periodically to prevent any transfer to the front surface during operation.

  • Should the front surface be stained by food, beverage, or other water soluble stains, the surface of Glassmatte may be cleaned by gently washing with a mild soap and water. Gasoline or naptha can be used locally and sparingly on oil or grease spots but if these spots have been left on the surface for very long, a permanent yellow or tan stain may be left.
