Surface Selections
For best results, Hurley Screen recommends the use of matte white material whenever conditions permit. The brightness of your display as measured in foot-lamberts is a good indicator. If you display produces 25 foot-lamberts or more, matte white may be used. If less, a gain surface may be required. To determine the brightness of your display in foot-lamberts, use the following formula:
ANSI Lumins of Projector/Square Footage of Screen = Foot-lamberts
